“When Father JohnBosco invited me to join him and the AEO board to build the school in Abakaliki I was intrigued. Having minimal exposure to schools in my professional work, this was a challenge I was eager to undertake. Working on the school that is a world away was new to me and I was unsure how I could be of assistance. Father invited me to join him in the Fall of 2017 to visit the school site. It was an experience I will always treasure. While in Abakaliki, we witnessed the drilling of two wells that now provide continuous clean water to the community as well as water for the school’s construction efforts. Father’s dream of providing a school for all children and allowing them to reach their potential is one I am so very grateful to participate in. I look forward to day the first students begin at this wonderful school.”
