Betty & Michael Nierman

Betty Niermann is a semi-retired Licensed Civil Engineer. She traveled to Abakaliki with Father to witness the drilling of the first wells for the school in 2017. Along with her participation with AEO she is a member of the Charleston Area Justice Ministry (CAJM) and devotes time to the parish Women's Guild and its outreach efforts.

Mike Niermann is retired but very busy with volunteer work. He has traveled to Abakaliki with Father to assist in the perimeter fence construction in 2018. As a SJCS Lego League coach, he helps middle school kids how to program the robot for missions. Also he is the Grand Knight for KofC Council 6726 and a member of Saint John Church council.
